Four parts of the novel-tetraology Alexandria Quartet wear the names of their main characters. The reader can look at the same events through the eyes of completely different people.
The hero of the third book - “Mautolive” - becomes the secondary character of Balthazar, a diplomat of a mautolive, having a very curious attitude to the Egyptian conspiracy.
And about the further fate of the characters of the first three books of tetralogy, Part Four tells, and the final - “Clea” - the action of which takes place already during the Second World War.
