The name of the writer and veterinarian James Harriot is known to millions of readers around the world, his works are translated into dozens of languages. In this book, the author again turns to ridiculous and infinitely touching stories about his four -legged patients - wise and amazing - and recalls the first years of his veterinary practice in Darrow, which is behind the features of Tirsk, where the James Harriot Museum is now located. The collection also included stories about how, after a short family life, the young veterinarian was in the role of a newly-made pilot of the Royal Air Force of Great Britain and made his first independent flights.
