George Orwell published the story "Memory of Catalonia in 1939. In it, he spoke about the intentions of the Russians to seize power in Spain. In 1945, he wrote a satire on the Russian revolution - the parable of the "Castard", and his last book was the novel "1984", anti -utopia, in which a totalitarian society was shown with fear and anger.
The writer dreamed that one day his books would fall into Russia and open his eyes to people. During the life of the author, this was not destined to happen. Only decades later, the manuscripts began to be translated, reprinted and transmitted from hand to hand. The texts released by samizdat struck, scared and inspired. Many years later, Orwell’s texts will be in every bookstore, and the first, printed on a typewriter, transfers will become a bibliographic rarity. It was they who compiled this collection. Read carefully. Remember, a big brother always watches you
