Hudson Taylor is a great English missionary who, from his youth, dreamed of Christian ministry in China. And he devoted his whole life to this business. The book tells about the family of X. Taylor, about how he brought up the will and courage for working in a distant country, about the difficulties that he came across in his path, and which he achieved great results. In this book about Hadson Taylor, materials recorded by Hadson Taylor himself are used. It contains fictional notes in the diary, dialogs and daily incidents, which, let"s hope, make this book easier for reading. Hudson and Amelia really visited Lun Woods. Other minor episodes in the entire book follow the same model, but in general the book is biographical. If the reading of it causes you to read the full biography of Hudson Taylor, as well as read the letters and diaries written by him and his relatives, the better.
