Read the tales of Yuri Koval - the brightest, diverse talented person - a huge pleasure. The language of the writer is true linguistic magic. Tales are good and their unusual plots, and humor, and incomparable dialogues.
In the Tale of Grandfather Ignat and Wolf Evstifeka, it is said about the hungry wolf. He wanted to eat an old woman, but the old man was sorry for her. Instead of the old woman, the wolf first received a cat, then a dog, a lavish and a cow. In the end, the presumptuous Evstifeka swallowed the old man himself. The old man and his pets arranged a wakhanal in the stomach of the wolf - jumped and yelling. They broke through the wolf stomach and went outside, right to the old woman in a hug. And the Evstifeka of harsh threads asked to sew up the belly torn. They gave him thread, he sewed his belly and went into the forest.
Heroes "Tales of Grandfather Ignat about the goat Kozm Mikitich" - a goat and a ram - left the lazy owner into the forest, grabbing a gun from the house. On the way, they found a wolf head, which, just in case, put in a bag. In the forest, they stumbled upon the company of wolves around the fire, pretended that their bag was full of wolf heads, from which they were going to cook a jelly. The wolves were scared and fled. Having met the bear and inspired by such a solid reinforcement, they returned, and the goat and the ram, meanwhile, climbed to the oak. The ram could not resist and fell on the head of the wolf, and the goat fired from the gun. Wolves and the bear scattered in terrible fear. The goat and the ram remained to live in the forest, and the wolves served them on the household.
The illustrations of Maria Vorontsova are worthy of separate praise - they miraculously convey the humor of the author.
The book is good for reading aloud - slowly and with expression - with the family or in a good company. It is recommended for children of all ages, as well as adults - connoisseurs of this literature.
