Abodes of Wisdom

This book contains a series of essays about the monasteries and the temples of our Fatherland. They were not accidentally called the "abode of wisdom": since ancient times, wonderful book collections were kept in the walls of the monasteries, which included truly invaluable writing monuments. The author talks about the history of the ceremony of the culture of ancient and medieval Russia, paying special attention to the activities of their founders or the most famous statements and rebels, many of them are ranked by the Russian Orthodox Church to the saints.
The edition can be used in the implementation of educational projects, including in the framework of the national program "spiritual and moral culture of the younger generation of Russia
