More than 70 years have passed since the famous "Doctors' Plot" (1952-1953), which in the West was called Stalin's last crime. In his new book, Sigizmund Mironin presents another sensational investigation. He carefully studied the case of the USSR Minister of State Security Viktor Abakumov (1946-1951) and the "Doctors' Plot," and found their main organizers. It turned out that they were links in the same chain aimed at bringing a "mole" from the CIA to the top of Soviet leadership. This "mole" turned out to be Nikolai Bulganin, Stalin's first deputy, a man who at that time supervised the power structures along the line of the Council of Ministers.
