A book consisting of two sections is a literary and artistic work. In it, the author is divided with readers with his hunting experience, thoughts and views on life from the point of view of lawyer-law and hunter-naturalist.
The book includes hunting stories, essays, articles in which the author expresses its respect for the surrounding nature and love for Fatherland.
And the Volga steppe, and the middle-Russian plains are hammered by the author as something in a whole with the concept of homeland. Hunting in the full sense of this word is a kind of continuation of love for native land.
The behavior of birds and animals, practical advice to novice hunters, exciting hunting episodes and life situations, interesting human characters are reflected in this book. There was even a place for a conversation about the soul of human, the soul of the hunter.
