Stuart Hogg and his basset hound Lulu are heading to England to write a biography of Tristam Scarra, a rock star and leader of the legendary band 'Us', who has long retired and now lives as a recluse in a heavily guarded estate. The band's story is quite typical: guided by the motto 'Sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll', talented teenagers from post-war England made their way from rehearsals in an old garage to worldwide fame and huge wealth. Of course, there were tragic deaths along the way. Stuart tries to establish contact with the rocker, although he is strongly advised not to dig up the past. How accidental were these deaths? Why does someone not want the memoirs to see the light of day? The writer will have to unravel a history that is fading into the past, culminating in a bloody resolution in the present.
