The collective monograph is based on an idea developed by prof. V.Zh. Kelle in the last decade of his creative activity. The distinction between two branches, culture, intellectual and spiritual, their historical development, conflict and productive interaction, a variety of all kinds of manifestations - these stories underlie many articles of the authors of the collection, in the recent past, colleagues of Vladislav Zhaninich. The book is devoted to those areas of modern humanitarian knowledge in which Kelle worked most: social philosophy and philosophy of culture, the sociology of science and modern problems of innovative knowledge, its development and application in modern Russia. Each of the sections opens with an article by V.Zh. Kelle, thereby the modern and recent history of Russian philosophical thought is mating. The book also contains memoir materials and documents from the life of V.Zh. Kelle
