The textbook consists of nine chapters that provide modern views on human health throughout their life, including basic types of activities: education, work, rational nutrition for children, hygiene requirements for children's items, approaches to organizing hygiene education and promoting a healthy lifestyle for the population, medical and sanitary-epidemiological support for the population. Special attention is paid to the influence of environmental factors. The role of factors affecting growth and development, the onset of diseases during a person's life is shown.
