The set of "battles of war" is dedicated to the main battles of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945), in which Soviet troops showed heroism and courage, bringing closer victory over the Nazi invaders. Laconic texts of the pictures contain:
- Description of military operations and battles,
- Information about military leaders and front commanders,
- Information about the number of troops and weapons in each battle,
- Memoirs of participants in hostilities.
Information is divided into blocks convenient for memorizing. Knowledge is made concise, but in sufficient for a child 6-11 years old. Photos from the Great Patriotic War will illustrate the story, make it figurative and interesting. Pictures are suitable for individual and group work.
