Alexander Deyneka's collection is an invitation to reflect on life, love, loneliness, the nature of creativity, and the writer's work in particular. The collection includes eight diverse stories united by the common theme of choosing one's path in life and finding oneself in this world. Words that accidentally slip from the lips, conversations with one's inner self, the life of an ordinary, at first glance, mouse named Angelika, a story of one day with a happy beginning and a happy ending, with disappointment in the middle, a monologue about what hurts, perhaps, wasn't even there - the reader will find interesting questions for themselves, but as for the answers... Each person will find the answers for themselves.
