A demon in a silver trap

The sixteenth century. Italy is shaken by a series of tragic events: a prominent occultist commits suicide in the midst of a family celebration, an entire family is burned alive in their own home, and all the inhabitants of a provincial aristocrat's castle are brutally exterminated. Rumors suggest that a mysterious sorcerer, possessing an ancient magical artifact capable of controlling the human soul and mind, is involved in all these misfortunes. Is he a psychopath or a avenger? What is the reason behind these atrocities and what is their goal? The only one capable of unraveling the tangle of misfortunes is a blind pickpocket named Giuseppe, a seventeen-year-old boy who has turned blindness into a true art and his main weapon.
