Japan is one of the most mysterious and most developed world civilizations, in which myths and legends intertwined with religious rites. The influence of the nearby Chinese civilization, which gave Japan a new religion - Buddhism, as well as writing and complex ceremonial rites, such as the tea ceremony, could not prevail strong national identity, and therefore dissolved, becoming part of a different, Japanese civilization.
