The book of Robert Kaplan and Devid Norton, the creators of a balanced system of performance indicators of the organization (SSP), became a desktop for managers of enterprises competing in the markets of the information era. The overgrown framework of the usual evaluation system, the SSP ensured a new approach to the strategic management of companies of any complexity operating in different branches of activity. R. Kaplan and D. Norton offered a system based on causal relationships between the strategic objectives reflecting their parameters and factors for obtaining planned results. It consists of four components - financial, customer, internal business processes and training and development of personnel, the goals and objectives of which are reflected by financial and non-financial indicators. The authors teach how to use these indicators to bring together the goal of each employee, business units and the entire enterprise, how to identify new processes and initiatives leading to customer satisfaction and shareholders.
