In 1906, a wide agrarian reform under the leadership of P.A. began to be held in Russia Stolypin. Her main goal was to create a powerful layer of "strong owners" in the village and, as a result, strengthening state power. However, as it often happened in Russia, the reform failed, and the fate of the reformer itself was tragic - he was killed.
Why did this happen? What did not consider Stolypin when conducting his reform? What "Rake" is coming, and why the same rake continued to adopt (and still occur) other reformers? According to the author of this book, the famous writer and publicist S.G. Kara-Murza, an example of Stolypin in this sense is instructive. Disassembled its activities in detail, S.G. Kara-Murza finds in her at least five fundamental errors and warns from possible errors in the future
