Collection of articles" XX century. The twenties continues the series of works conceived in the 1960s. Academician M.P.Alekseyev and devoted to the unexplored problems and periods of the relationship between Russian literature with foreign literature of the XVIII-XX centuries.
In the articles included in the collection, the most important and representative phenomena in this area are considered for the first time, which helps to fill in many details of the complex and controversial literary life of Russia of the 1920s, when the Soviet system has not yet developed and Russian culture has not yet been S wasted in the rigid framework of the political system.
Articles P.R. Zaborova, R.Yu. Danilevsky and O. B. Kafanova are devoted to the fate of the Western European classic heritage in Soviet Russia. Several works concern the problems of translation art and translation history from Spanish, Italian, Swedish, German, English in this era. The collection was attended by not only the staff of the Pushkin House, but also other authors, including the German researcher, U. Kechuch, for the first time analyzing the German translation "Konarmy" I. Babel, made with the subsequently lost original.
The book is designed for historians of literature, students of humanitarian universities and on all interested in issues of international relations of Russian literature
