The book introduced a diary of Vice President of the Foundation "Liberal Mission" by Igor Kleamkin, which he leads in Facebook. Records refer to 2014. The author"s focus is the key events of this year in Ukraine: Maidan, the revolutionary change of power, the accession of Russia of Crimea, the war in the Donbas. Their reflection in the foreign policy of Russia, the USA, the EU countries, in discussions at the UN Security Council meetings, is monitored. The book also has many observations and reflections on how what happened in Ukraine has affected not only on the behavior of the Russian authorities, but also on the Russian public consciousness - and the mass, and on the consciousness of various groups of politicians and intellectuals. Facebook format predetermined the polemical nature of a significant part of the texts
