30 years ago in Moscow, the parliament was shot! Shot with 125mm cumulative shells! Tank shots then opened the way to wild capitalism of oligarchs and feudal lords. Russia was washed with blood. Following that tragedy, a book by the well-known politician and writer, then a member of the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation, Anatoly Greshnevnikov, was published in Yaroslavl, the third edition of which was released on the 30th anniversary of the national tragedy! Memory, and only it, prompted the deputy of all convocations (together with the shot parliament) from the Yaroslavl land to write a book, unique in material and truthful in details about the tragic events of September-October 1993. It is a memory of those who, together with the author, fulfilled their constitutional and civic duty during the two-week siege of the parliament, those who placed Honor and Dignity above their own lives and sacrificed their heads... Not a single name of a fallen hero, not a single sigh of theirs, not a single minute of the fighting parliament, as A.N. Greshnevnikov believes, should be given to the mockery and denigration by immoral writers and anti-national politicians... Those who shot at the Supreme Council were aiming at Russia, seeking to plunder its spiritual and natural resources. The result of that bloody confrontation was the creation of a corrupt, oligarchic power that continues to plunder the country to this day.
