The country is in fire - a kind of Reader in which the most important of the documents previously entered into the scientific circulation of documents and materials reflecting the main stages and key events of the pre-political crisis of the second half of the 1930s are collected, the measures of the Soviet state to strengthen the USSR defense and strengthening it geostrategic positions on the eve of German attacks, the course of hostilities at the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. The first book, a collection of essays, reflects the main events that led to the Second World War, characterize the preparation of Germany to attack and conduct war on the destruction against the USSR, reveals the efforts of the Soviet state and military Guidelines for the reflection of military aggression. In a book of 3 parts, prepared by the Academy of Sciences of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus and dedicated to the events of the first year of the Great Patriotic War in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. The second book (document collection) includes documents reflecting the military Action at the fronts of the Great Patriotic War in 1941 and the organization of nationwide removal to the invaders. Documents are also provided to obtain an idea of the international situation of the USSR in the summer - in the winter of 1941 and undertaken by diplomatic efforts to establish and strengthen links with potential allies on the anti-Hitler coalition.
