The monograph is devoted to the historical and architectural description of the monastery complexes of the Moscow Kremlin. Monasteries in the Kremlin have always performed many different functions - spiritual, representative and others, very important for the capital"s city of a huge state. In addition, the monastery complexes were independent closed architectural and spatial objects and had specific features of artistic interaction with the Kremlin ensemble as a whole.
